Invisalign®

Invisalign® offers a modern, nearly invisible way to achieve straighter teeth without the need for traditional metal braces. This innovative treatment utilizes a series of custom-made, clear aligners that gradually move your teeth into their desired positions. Unlike conventional braces, Invisalign® involves fewer office visits and can deliver results more quickly.

How Invisalign® Works

When you start Invisalign® treatment, you’ll receive multiple sets of custom-fit aligners. Each set is designed to be worn for about two weeks. As you progress through each set, you’ll observe gradual improvements in your teeth alignment. Within just a few months, you’ll see a noticeable enhancement in your smile, with teeth that are straighter and healthier.

Dr. Ortiz, a certified Invisalign® provider, has successfully treated numerous patients with this state-of-the-art system. His expertise ensures that you receive the highest quality care throughout your treatment.

Invisalign aligner Alinea Orthodontics in Santa Monica, CA

Why Choose Invisalign®

NEARLY INVISIBLE

Invisalign® aligners cannot be seen while you are wearing them.

COMFORTABLE

The aligners are made from a special, smooth plastic that won’t irritate your mouth.

CUSTOMIZED

Dr. Ortiz uses advanced 3D imaging technology to create an exact impression of your teeth, then he customizes each aligner to move your teeth into the ideal position over time.

REMOVABLE

Unlike traditional metal braces, you can remove your aligners to eat, drink, brush your teeth, floss, and for special occasions.

EFFECTIVE

You will begin to notice a significant difference even before your treatment is complete. Most treatments are completed within one year; however, this can vary between patients.

Invisalign® For Teens

Invisalign® Teen is the perfect teeth straightening treatment to fit your teen’s busy lifestyle.

Just like the adult version, Invisalign® aligners designed for teens are nearly invisible and can be removed for important school plays, sports games, and events.

Your teen’s smile journey begins with a scan or impressions. We will work closely with Invisalign treatment specialists to develop a complete digital treatment plan to plot your teen’s best smile with care from start to finish.

Your teen will receive Invisalign clear aligners created with the Invisalign system’s proprietary SmartTrack material. Throughout treatment, you can monitor your teen’s compliance through an indicator on the aligner. Your teen will wear the aligners for 22 hours per day but can easily remove them so there are fewer interruptions to their lifestyle.

As your teen progresses through treatment, their smile and life will transform through a series of small, expertly designed shifts.

Invisalign® For Kids

Invisalign First clear aligner treatment is a type of Phase One treatment in growing children.

It aligns the teeth while expanding the arches and making room for existing teeth and incoming permanent teeth.

Phase One treatment with Invisalign First may be used to:
– Correct and guide the growth of your child’s jaw
– Regulate the width of the upper and lower arches
– Create more space for crowded teeth
– Avoid the need for permanent tooth extractions during Phase Two treatment
– Correct thumb sucking and help improve minor speech problems

Invisalign First treatment starts with a simple scan or impressions. From there, every step of your child’s plan is digitally plotted so you know what to expect. Removable aligners mean there’s little interruption to your child’s life and the foods they love. Plus, the aligners are specifically designed to fit smaller teeth and have space to accommodate teeth that are growing in. As they progress
through their treatment, you’ll see their smile transform through a series of small, expertly designed shifts calculated for how little teeth should move.
